Launched on June 2, 2017 by the President of the French Republic, the Make Our Planet Great Again initiative aims to attract foreign researchers working on the environment and climate to France. After the success of previous editions, in 2018, 2019 and 2020, this new call for applications, still funded by the department, makes it possible to extend this program over time, at the confluence of the objectives of attracting talent and international visibility of France's action on ecological issues.
This year's edition relates to the specific issues that have emerged in the current health crisis and which constitute new priorities with a call for projects "One health / One health" open until May 10, 2021.
This call for applications is intended to bring in post-doctoral researchers wishing to carry out a 12-month research stay in France to work on a theme falling within the "One health / One health" approach.
Description of the Post-Doctoral project:
Researchers should:
- have held a doctoral degree for less than 5 years on the date of submission of the file,
- be exclusively of foreign nationality,
- not have resided in France after September 1, 2020.
The start of the research stay in France must take effect in January 2022.
Within the framework of this call, 40 scholarships will be awarded, including 7 earmarked scholarships for laureates from sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa).
The call for applications, which specifies, in particular, the broad scientific scope of the expected profiles, is published on the Campus France website:
